This currant produces tons of clusters of black currants in mid-July, great for preserves. Self pollinating. Plant wants well draining, slightly acidic soil. Removing older stems encourages more fruit. Height and spread: 3-4 ft.
Sun needs- full sun can handle light shade.
Water needs- moist soil but not soggy, water regularly if dry spell occurs during growing season less water needed after seasons over.
